Build us a castle in the cloud
The infrastructure teams at ALDI DX are continuously striving to improve processes and the system landscape, for example to shorten our time-to-market. In doing so, we are increasingly relying on cloud-based standard solutions, leveraging the potential of cloud computing and benefiting from advantages such as on-demand self-service provisioning and rapid elasticity. But never without neglecting the elementary aspect of security.
Driver of innovation and stability
Whether in the technical field as a cloud platform architect or engineer, in an advisory role as a cloud consultant or as an expert in IT security – all our colleagues ensure that new solutions on our way to the cloud are on the one hand highly performant and on the other hand comply with ALDI SÜD's architecture, security and operational principles.
WE ARE TRANSFORMING OUR SYSTEM LANDSCAPE
We are responsible for the development and operation of complex infrastructures in the cloud. In doing so, we further develop current standards and provide future standards and best practices for the international IT infrastructure in the on-premises, private and public cloud environment. In the transformation to more and more standard cloud solutions, we are helping to shape both technical and organizational support.
WE ARE WORKING ON FUTURE TOPICS
Continuously looking for new technologies in order to identify innovative solutions – that is what drives us in the field of cloud solutions. We set trends in cloud computing, drive the automation of our IT landscape, further develop CI/CD pipelines and work on numerous exciting in-house initiatives and products from the cloud environment.
WE SEE SAFETY AS A PROCESS, NOT AS AN END PRODUCT
The introduction of cloud technologies will only be successful if our teams unite in the strategic priority of IT security and together we create the greatest possible protection against cyberattacks. Together, we can transform a lot, but only by adhering to and constantly improving security, privacy, and regulatory standards. True to the motto #SayYesToStandardisation and #SayNoToQuick'n'Dirty.
