At the business premises of the International IT department in Mülheim an der Ruhr, we develop optimised IT solutions for worldwide application. The national IT department ensures that all IT processes function smoothly nationwide.
The IT infrastructure is the nervous system of our processes. The Connectivity and Security teams connect all IT systems securely and effectively. Our IT experts from the Digital Workplace, Data Centre, INFRA Coordination and Global Service Desk teams make sure that every employee can use these systems, always focussing on the individual requirements of all ALDI SOUTH departments.

“Digital touchpoints” is one of the magic words of our times. Our team uses state-of-the-art content management and customer relationship management systems (CMS/CRM) to ensure optimum customer relations. Whether via mobile apps or social media – our objective is to keep our customers well informed on all channels.
Optimising business processes and creating the prerequisites for a modern and global application landscape – this is just one of the tasks of our “architects”. The trick is to standardise processes while still remaining flexible. And, of course, everything has to work in eleven countries and on four continents.
