Dual study programme for a Bachelor of Science – Business Information Systems degree
The perfect mix of theory and practice: a dual bachelor course in Business Information Systems at ALDI SOUTH IT. From the very first day, you will work on (inter-)national projects, learn hands-on content in the areas of IT and business administration and put theory directly into practice in our International IT. You will master the theoretical basics at our partner university, FOM Düsseldorf. Below are some examples of what you can expect to learn:
- Basics of business information systems
- Project management
- Databases and programming
- IT security (data protection, IT and media law)
Three days per week, you will support your ALDI SOUTH team on-site and apply your expertise in practice.
The aim is to graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Business Information Systems) degree after seven semesters. Following graduation, you may be offered a position in our IT department. What is required? An education certificate qualifying you for university admission or a technical diploma with good marks along with enthusiasm for IT topics. In return, we offer an attractive remuneration package of €1,500 gross per month in the first year, €1,600 in the second year and €1,800 from the third year onwards, plus holiday pay and a Christmas bonus. Dual study programme for a Bachelor of Science – E-Commerce degree
A dual study programme in the field of e-Commerce at ALDI SOUTH IT in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Ruhr West in Mülheim an der Ruhr offers the perfect mix of theory and practice. The course lets you get to know International IT and other business areas of the ALDI SOUTH Group and, consequently, to contribute and continue developing your enthusiasm for information technology and its application in business administration.
The course combines content from business administration and information technology. Below are some examples of what you can expect to learn:
- Software development, programming and quality assurance
- Database and web technologies
- Controlling, investment appraisal and financial calculation
- Logistics and supply chain
Two to three days per week (this may change), you will work on (inter-)national projects and routine business, where you can support the ALDI SOUTH IT team with your team spirit and communication skills. The objective of your course is to graduate with the internationally recognised Bachelor of Science (e-Commerce) degree in nine semesters. What is required? A university entrance certificate or advanced technical certificate with good marks. Apprenticeship in IT – Application Development
In the key training area of IT – Application Development, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions and will learn programming languages such as Java and C#. You will support the team in implementing storage solutions and operating our IT systems. As a rule, your apprenticeship takes 2.5 years, with a working week of 37.5 hours. Every four to five weeks there is a two-week training block at Heinz Nixdorf Vocational College in Essen. What is required? The apprenticeship in IT Data and Process Analysis lets you get to know International IT and other business areas at ALDI SOUTH. During your apprenticeship, you will be involved in topics such as the analysis and optimisation of IT processes in an international environment. You will discover how to identify and prepare data and work together with application developers.
