Dual work-study programme for a Bachelor of Science – Business Information Systems or Computer Science degree at the FOM Düsseldorf
The perfect mix of theory and practical experience: a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems or Computer Science combined with a work placement at ALDI SOUTH. From the very first day, you will work on (inter-)national projects, learn hands-on content in the areas of IT and business administration and put theory directly into practice in our departments. You will master the theoretical basics at our partner university, FOM Düsseldorf. Below are some examples of what you can expect to learn:

Three days a week, you will support your ALDI SOUTH team on site and apply your knowledge in practice. The aim is to graduate with an internationally recognised Bachelor of Science degree after seven semesters. Following graduation, you may be offered a position in our company. What you bring with you? A university entrance certificate or advanced technical diploma with good grades, along with enthusiasm for IT and business topics. In return, we offer an attractive remuneration package of EUR 1,550 gross per month in the first year, EUR 1,650 in the second year and EUR 1,850 from the third year onwards, including holiday and Christmas bonuses. You will also receive additional training tailored to your needs.
Dual work-study programme for a Bachelor of Science – E-Commerce at the University of Applied Sciences Ruhr West in Mülheim an der Ruhr
A dual work-study programme in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Ruhr West in Mülheim an der Ruhr or Bottrop offers the perfect mix of theory and practice. The course lets you get to know international IT and other business areas of the ALDI SOUTH Group and, consequently, to contribute and continue developing your enthusiasm for information technology and its application in business administration. Below are some examples of what you can expect to learn:
E-commerce
- Software development, programming and quality assurance
- Database and web technologies
- Controlling, investment appraisal and financial calculations
- Logistics and supply chain
Two days per week, you will get involved in (inter-)national projects and routine business, where you can support the ALDI SOUTH IT team with your team spirit and communication skills. The goal is to graduate with the internationally recognised Bachelor of Science degree in nine semesters. What you bring with you? A university entrance certificate or advanced technical diploma with good grades. In return, we offer an attractive remuneration package of EUR 1,550 gross per month in the first year, EUR 1,650 in the second year and EUR 1,850 from the third year onwards, including holiday and Christmas bonuses. You will also receive additional training tailored to your needs.
Apprenticeship in IT – Application Development
In the key training area of IT – Application Development, you will learn about developing and implementing software solutions, including programming languages such as Java and C#. You will support the team in implementing storage solutions and operating our IT systems. As a rule, your apprenticeship takes 2.5 years, with a working week of 37.5 hours. Every four to five weeks there is a two-week training block at Heinz Nixdorf Vocational College in Essen. What you bring with you? A secondary school leaving certificate, university entrance certificate or advanced technical diploma with good grades.
Apprenticeship in IT – Data and Process Analysis
The apprenticeship in IT Data and Process Analysis lets you get to know international IT and other business areas at ALDI SOUTH. During your apprenticeship, you will be involved in topics such as the analysis and optimisation of IT processes in an international environment. You will discover how to identify and prepare data and work together with application developers. Your apprenticeship generally takes 2.5 years, your working time is 37.5 hours per week. If you decide to pursue an apprenticeship with us, you will also receive attractive remuneration. You will receive EUR 1,150 gross per month in the first year of training, EUR 1,250 in the second year and EUR 1,400 from the third year onwards.
