As a Security Expert, you will be responsible for developing and implementing information security policies and procedures in accordance with the applicable standards. You identify risks, propose mitigation measures and ensure that new solutions comply with ALDI SOUTH’s architectural, security and operational principles.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Liaising between the IT and business areas on all IT security issues
  • Accompanying IT projects as a point of contact for IT security
  • Evaluating projects and initiatives in order to ensure an appropriate level of information security (on-premises, private and public cloud)
  • Preparing security assessments, concepts and decision papers on various IT security issues
  • Coordinating and executing penetration tests for apps and services
  • Designing and implementing new security features

Ideally, you have the following:

  • Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT security
  • Very good analytical and strategic skills and experience with security analysis
  • Expertise in IT security, including IT security management systems and security-related standards
  • General understanding of technology and technological trends
  • Good communication, coordination and presentation skills as well as intercultural awareness and fluency in English
  • Basic understanding of web, API and cloud technology 
  • Basic experience in agile software development and continuous integration
