As a Data Analyst, you are a specialist for all aspects of data analysis. You can see the big picture and filter out important data from the vast amounts of data and existing data sets. You analyse and evaluate data to create new insights and knowledge and provide them to the company to support in decision-making.
Your responsibilities are:
- Maintaining the Data Office framework
- Developing, implementing and enforcing new data policies
- Publishing policies, guidelines and role profiles and integrating them into ALDI SÜD processes
- Working closely with stakeholders from our Data Community
- Working closely with the Change Management colleagues within our Data Office to build a company-wide data culture and data literacy
- Providing support on our data strategy and implementing the roadmap
- Reporting on the progress of data governance initiatives and projects

Ideally, you match the following profile:
- University degree or apprenticeship with a focus on IT, project management or economics
- Several years of practical experience in the field of data governance/data management/data stewardship
- Understanding of data ethics, data protection and data security
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking and high affinity for problem solving
- Intercultural competence and strong communication skills
- Ability to draft a variety of documents such as policies and guidelines
- An affinity for working in a well-structured manner and confidence in handling figures, data and facts
- A passion for quality, a proactive mindset and an interest in designing new processes
- Very good Excel skills in the preparation, analysis and presentation of extensive data
- Excellent spoken and written English
