As a Frontend Expert for BI analytics, you are a specialist in the visualisation of data and the development of user-friendly interfaces for data analysis. You work closely with the data scientist teams to ensure that the insights they generate are presented in an understandable and engaging way. You are responsible for designing and implementing engaging dashboards and reports that enable stakeholders to quickly and easily identify important information.
Your responsibilities are:
- Developing data visualisation solutions as part of an agile team
- Working closely with data scientists to better understand data requirements and develop custom dashboards and reports
- Collaborating with backend developers to integrate frontend solutions in backend systems
- Conducting user research, defining user personas and mapping user journeys
- Creating product concepts, storyboards, interaction designs, screen flows, prototypes and full applications in a scalable way
- Ensuring solutions are responsive, performant and accessible across a variety of devices and browsers
- Ensuring the code follows the latest coding practices and industry standards
- Keeping up to date with the latest frontend technologies and trends
Ideally, you match the following profile:
- Several years of experience in frontend development
- Proficiency in other web frontend technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
- Experience with data visualisation and charting libraries, such as D3.js and Highcharts
- Familiarity with backend development and APIs
- A strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
