As a Subject Matter Expert, you contribute to the success of a product with your expertise in a business or retail-related area (e.g. technology, security, application specifics). You are the central point of contact within a (product) team for questions regarding your area of expertise and specific field of knowledge.
Your tasks are:
- Consulting on all aspects of ALDI SOUTH’s business dynamics and processes
- Supporting all relevant stakeholders with user stories, requirements and the development of different products in various areas
- Contributing to the design, implementation, configuration, testing and operation of an IT product
- Supporting team members in their daily work by sharing expert knowledge
- Evaluating concepts with a focus on your specialist area
- Identifying, processing and expanding knowledge or best practices within the team
- Participating in relevant agile meetings and ceremonies
Depending on your strengths and interests, you can contribute in the following areas, among others:
- Buying
- Supply chain management
- Contracting
- Data and finance
- Stores
- E-commerce
- Corporate social responsibility
Ideally, you have the following:
- Profound expertise in a specialised field of the value chain
- Basic understanding of the end-to-end software and product development process
- An understanding of agile values, principles and ways of thinking
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication abilities as well as sound intercultural awareness
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expertise in project and process management in an IT product environment
