As a Product Owner, you are responsible for the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of a product within a user story in line with the defined business requirements. As a Product Line Owner, you have an overview of all IT products within a product line.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Consulting with different stakeholders, e.g. Initiative Managers regarding product requirements and priorities
- Coordinating with the global product community (e.g. international and national POs) to create improvement ideas and share best practices
- Discussing with team leaders and requesting capacity requirements from them; requesting and managing supporting external experts
- Identifying, managing and reporting on risks and risk mitigation measures
- Defining and prioritising user stories from epics and managing the product backlog, incl. change requests and release planning
- Prioritising bug fixes
- Driving the realisation of user stories in sprints together with the agile team (the PO acts as a proxy for the business)
- Defining key business test scenarios and test data requirements (SIT and UAT) and reviewing test outcomes
Ideally, you have the following:
- Profound understanding of the global business processes within the product scope
- Knowledge of the entire IT solution landscape and technical dependencies within the processes
- Extensive project management experience
- Profound networking skills to align and collaborate with all stakeholders (other Product Owners as well as the GBC, countries and other IT functions)
- Profound understanding of testing processes to support in preparing and performing product tests
- Ability to work in agile team setups that require continuous, close collaboration with the respective stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of business dynamics and processes at ALDI SÜD
