Management Track

  • Leading a business/functional area of responsibility, including planning, prioritising and/or assigning tasks to employees
  • Main management tasks: developing employees and disciplinary leadership

Project Track

  • Managing projects/programmes, including planning, prioritising and/or assigning responsibilities to project members
  • Comprises employee development, providing feedback, and project/lateral leadership
  • The number of directly assigned employees may be smaller compared to the management track

Expert Track

  • Leading a functional/technical discipline, including planning, prioritising and/or supervising the design, implementation/delivery of products, processes or policies
  • Comprises employee development, providing feedback, and functional leadership
  • The number of directly assigned employees will be significantly lower compared to the management and project tracks

Changes between tracks can be carried out vertically as well as laterally, provided that the relevant employee meets the defined requirements. Vertical career steps describe paths to a higher hierarchy level. Promotions to the next higher position may occur within the same track or in combination with a change of track. Lateral career steps, on the other hand, describe the change of track at the same level.
