Enabler in agile product teams

Our internationally active IT team creates solutions to be used by ALDI SÜD worldwide. Join our team and shape the future of ALDI SOUTH IT. 

As a Scrum Master, you will support the development teams and use different agile ways of working. You will coordinate different parts of the agile ceremonies, stand by the team’s side as an enabler and are committed to breaking down barriers creating value for all involved stakeholders.

Your responsibilities are: 

  • Training, coaching and mentoring the agile team to deliver value using an agile way of working
  • Coaching the agile team in self-organisation, cross-functional collaboration and communication
  • Facilitating discussions, decision-making and conflict resolution
  • Facilitating agile ceremonies, such as retrospectives
  • Together with the Agile Methods Manager, helping those outside the agile team understand which interactions with the agile team are helpful or not, and working towards change these interactions

Depending on your field of interest, you have the opportunity to get involved in one of the following areas: 

  • Participating in an exchange about agile methods with other teams across different departments and with various focus topics

Ideally, you match the following profile: 

  • Profound knowledge of tools for agile methodology (e.g. Lean Coffee, Time Timer, etc.)
  • Agile/SCRUM certification(s)
  • Agile values, principles and mindset
  • Good overall understanding of IT architectures, IT service landscape and applications in the respective area
  • Understanding of product planning in an empirical environment
  • Good knowledge of software development processes as well as iterative and incremental development
  • High self-organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills as well as good listening and networking skills
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills as well as relevant tools and techniques
  • Experience in requirements gathering, tool support and training
