As part of our transformation into a product-focused organisation, it is mainly the Solution Architects who create and assume responsibility for the central solution design principles and the solution architecture roadmap for the entire IT department. As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the solution design of one of our IT product portfolios. You will promote the use of state-of-the-art technology and design practices, taking into account market standards, sustainability and compatibility with other products.
Your responsibilities are:
- Ensuring the integrity of the global ALDI SOUTH template in a modern application environment
- Assessing technical/business optimisation and changes to the global template
- Developing concepts for architectures for a certain domain and supporting their transition into concrete solution designs, with a special focus on end-to-end integration.
- Helping to further develop and ensure compliance with implementation guidelines
- Cooperating closely with national and international experts from the IT departments and within the architect network (Enterprise/Domain/Solution Architects)
Depending on your strengths and interests, you can contribute in the following areas, among others:
- Both agile and classic project teams
Ideally, you match the following profile:
- Relevant professional experience in the field of software architecture as well as in the development and supervision of bundled/integrated business applications
- Extensive experience in the development/evaluation of technical solutions in relation to architectural framework conditions (e.g. TOGAF)
- Experience in working with SAP S/4HANA
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Desire and willingness for professional development in the area of solution architecture management
