Designer of the DevOps infrastructure

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, management and maintenance of the DevOps infrastructure and toolchain. You will also take care of the automation of build, test and deployment processes using suitable tools and scripts. In this way, you adopt and promote the DevOps mindset at product team level and enable continuous improvements in development.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing and maintaining the DevOps infrastructure and toolset
- Managing the continuous integration pipeline (integration automation)
- Participating in the regular feature implementation in the Scrum team for the realisation of the sprint backlog
- Implementing suitable monitoring and warning solutions for timely error recognition, proactive bug fixes and optimisation
- Running executed quality measurements (e.g. code quality or test coverage analysis)
- Ensuring compliance with security policies and market standards
- Promoting collaboration between the development, testing, operations and security areas
Ideally, you have the following:
- Experience in agile software development and in software engineering
- Knowledge of and experience with CI/CD concepts and tools
- Confident handling of source code management systems
- Experience with virtual containers
- Excellent programming and scripting skills
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructures and network technologies
- Knowledge of agile methods and ways of working
- Initiative, commitment to quality and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills, intercultural understanding and fluency in English
