As an Application Team Expert, you will assist in the development, design and implementation of a new system landscape for ALDI SOUTH IT. You will create digital “must-haves” that will help ALDI SOUTH to further digitise its business and provide an excellent online shopping experience for ALDI SOUTH’s customers. You understand business requirements, transform them into solutions, test, implement and document them while guaranteeing data security and quality.
Your responsibilities are:
- Transforming business requirements into solutions within international project work
- Maintaining and updating solutions (e.g. dashboard functionality) and their implementation
- Assuming responsibility for the online presence of the ALDI websites
- Coordinating and monitoring the introduction of e-commerce solutions in other countries (e.g. microsites)
- Connecting virtual and physical points of contact with our customers (e.g. customer’s online shopping experience)
Ideally, you match the following profile:
- Preferably, you have university degree in IT, computer science, business informatics, or business administration, or are a career changer with a completed apprenticeship e.g. as a commercial specialist in IT technology
- Work experience in the areas of IT, marketing, omnichannel trade and e-commerce, customer service and interaction, consulting or project management
- Basic knowledge of IT application systems such as SAP CX, Adobe or Salesforce
- Basic knowledge of IT tools such as Jenkins, ELK-Stack, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS or Kubernetes
- A keen interest in technology and enjoyment in working in a rapidly changing IT environment
- Teamwork and communication skills
