The SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Center team focuses on providing a stable SAP BTP environment and developing value-added apps on the SAP Business Technology Platform, taking into account UX standardisation. As a Manager DevOps Hub, you will support the team in achieving the best results in development and operations.
Your responsibilities are:
- Understanding and managing the interests of different internal stakeholders to generate added value in a targeted and customer-oriented manner
- Establishing and implementing a product-oriented, agile DevOps methodology and coordinating several DevOps teams
- Designing, developing, deploying and operating BTP custom apps, including demand pipeline management
- Managing business requirements and assuming responsibility for development tasks in a flexible and efficient manner
- Establishing and developing the product team(s) in a targeted manner
- Performing cost-benefit analyses and allocating the findings to relevant services in a cloud-based business
- Planning, coordinating and commissioning external service providers
Ideally, you match the following profile:
- Proficiency in SAP BTP, including BTP services in the Integration and Extension Suite along with associated technical components, etc.
- In-depth SAP management knowledge with the corresponding practical experience
- Background in business informatics or comparable training
- Preferably experience with DevOps methodologies
- A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with agile practices
- Above-average analytical and conceptual skills as well as knowledge in the area of financial management
- Very good communication and presentation skills as well as diplomacy
- Experience in controlling (business cases, reporting, ad-hoc analyses) would be beneficial, ideally in an IT environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Teams and PowerPoint)
- Fluent English language skills
