Mediator and developer of a global template
As one of our SAP Professionals, you will pursue new approaches and set high standards for design and efficiency. You will collaborate with colleagues on international projects and take part in all phases of the rollout of our SAP solutions.
SAP Professionals play a key role in the implementation of ALDI SOUTH’s IT strategy and one of the largest SAP implementation projects in the retail industry. You will be responsible for the integration and standardisation of all processes using SAP Portfolio and mediate between the individual departments and system integrators. You will have a significant influence on the design of ALDI SOUTH’s current and future SAP landscape.
Depending on the exact position you will assume as SAP Professional within our IT department, your tasks will either concern platform-based or project-based work. More specifically, this means:
Platform
- Monitoring the interfaces
- Processing business requirements
- Providing third-level support
- Developing projects
- Planning test measures
- Distributing release notes
Project
- Designing, implementing and developing global templates
- Reviewing processes and technical documentation
- Communicating with your team and service providers
- Acting as contact person for international business entities
Ideally, you match the following profile:
- University degree with a focus on natural sciences, economics, computer science or industrial engineering
- Several years of experience in SAP project business (S/4HANA) and large implementation projects
- Knowledge of project management and agile methods like Scrum, etc.
- Experience in using tools like Solution Manager and ABAP
- General knowledge of processes
- Technical understanding and a quick perception
- Self-organised and structured working style
- Skilled communicator with both internal and external business partners
- Good command of the English language, which is our corporate language
