As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality IT product increments. You develop, implement and analyse test processes in cross-functional, agile teams, while working closely with developers to find solutions and improve products.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Supporting the product owners in validating sprint backlog elements
- Ensuring and validating the functionality of a product or service during a sprint in accordance with functional and non-functional requirements
- Defining suitable test methods, test cases and test data requirements
- Planning, prioritising, implementing and maintaining manual and/or automated tests using existing standards at ALDI SÜD
- Analysing and documenting test results
- Continuously coordinating and conducting regular feedback loops with developers on solution approaches
Ideally, you have the following:
- Initiative, commitment to quality and ability to work in a team
- Extensive experience in software testing and operational processes
- Very good knowledge of test concepts, types, tools and methods, as well as experience in applying these in an agile environment
- Good skills in software development, test development and test automation
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Intercultural awareness and fluency in English
