As an Operations Expert or IT Service Manager, you will ensure that our IT systems run smoothly on a day-to-day basis and intervene quickly in the event of problems. By monitoring performance and making continuous improvements, you will contribute to increasing our product quality and stability.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Continuously monitoring IT product stability and service level agreements
- Coordinating various measures to increase quality and operational stability
- Developing ways to prevent and ultimately resolve incidents
- Coordinating with product owners on existing problems
- Performing root cause analyses and retrospectives
- Identifying potential risks for smooth product operation
- Proactively developing potential mitigation strategies
- Coordinating with technical stakeholders on infrastructure upgrades and changes
Ideally, you have the following:
- Good understanding of IT service management processes and best practices, e.g. ITIL
- In-depth understanding of IT architectures and applications in the respective area
- Sound knowledge of incident management
- Expertise and practical knowledge of operation and maintenance concepts
- Excellent risk analysis and assessment skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills combined with good stakeholder management
